The Ravens remain unbeaten at home, edging out Eastleigh 2-1 at Hayes Lane thanks to an Adam Marriott brace.

The game commenced poorly for the Ravens with a defensive error gifting Eastleigh’s Tristan Abraham an early goal in the second minute.

After a few tame opportunities on goal from the Ravens, Reice Charles-Cook made an acrobatic save to prevent Eastleigh a second goal.

Another near-chance came from a Eastleigh long throw, which was headed wide by Tristan Abraham.

A chance for Bromley comes from a perfect delivery from Reece Hannam, which was tipped away by the Eastleigh’s defender.

After a numerous chances from both ends, a late first-half equaliser came from Marriott, who slotted the ball into the net with his first goal for the Ravens, following some brilliant play from Billy Bingham and Harry Forster.

In the second half, a great number of chances came from a Bromley corner, which the Ravens were unlucky not to convert. Just minutes later, a close Bromley chance came from an ambitious cross from Bingham, which fell just wide for a goal kick.

In the 58th minute, a brilliant ball is floated into the box, and after a downward header by Michael Cheek was saved, Marriott was there to fire home the rebound from close range.

Despite Eastleigh’s late attacking force, the Ravens held the lead and took away all three points.
