Maidenhead United
vs
1 - 0

Bromley
York Road, Sat 29th Oct @ 3:00 pm
The Ravens fall to another defeat at Maidenhead United on Saturday.
The hosts thought they had got off to a dream start, netting inside the first two minutes. However, the linesman’s flag was raised as the ball touched the net.
Some great first half defending by Callum Reynolds kept the scores level before Ethan Coleman saw his downward header bounce wide following some great play by Billy Bingham and Charles Clayden.
The best chance of the game came on 15 minutes as Adam Marriott played through Harry Forster before the latter saw his effort saved.
Bingham then tried to lob the Maidenhead ‘keeper from a free-kick on the half-way line before the ball floated out for a goal-kick.
Marriott then had the ball in the net before it was ruled out for offside moments prior to Chris Bush finishing a disallowed effort too.
Further defending by Reynolds kept the scores level going into half-time.
In the early stages of the second half, Remy Clerima fizzed a shot just past the post before Forster went up the other end to try and break the dead-lock, but it was saved.
Corey Whitely caused a lot of trouble in the second half and almost scored on the hour mark, poking an effort wide with the outside of his boot.
Reynolds continued his defensive excellence to keep the scores level, but Maidenhead did manage to bag a late goal, netting through a header at the back-post.
The Bromley defender almost netted late on, but it ended 1-0 to the team from Berkshire.
