The Ravens fell to a 2-1 defeat away at Wrexham on Tuesday night.

Bromley dominated most of the first half and it started when Louis Dennis tried his luck from range with only nine minutes on the clock. However, his strike was saved by the Wrexham ‘keeper.

Soon after, Corey Whitely also let fly from range, but it was another comfortable stop from Mark Howard in the Wrexham net.

Up the other end and Ollie Palmer had a couple of chances to open the scoring, but his efforts failed to find the net.

His missed opportunities proved costly as Whitely broke the dead-lock just past the half-hour mark after some really good play by Dennis found the wide-man in the box who buried from close range.

The lead didn’t last long, though, as Wrexham were awarded a penalty just before half-time and it was buried home by Paul Mullin.

The Wrexham front-man was in the thick of it again just after the break, blazing over a chance from close range.

The hosts eventually took the lead on 72 minutes after a deflected James Jones effort found the back of the net.

Andy Woodman’s men did have a chance to equalise at the death when Callum Reynolds headed wide a Bes Topalloj free-kick, but Wrexham held on to clinch the points.
