Academy finish on a high to seal 3rd place in the Hageland Cup.
Bromley’s young academy side took the 3rd place trophy at this years Hageland Cup U19 section.
The squad performed well throughout the day finishing second in their group behind eventual runners up Wolfdonk Sports of Belgium.
The third / fourth place play-off saw Bromley paired against FC Pepingen of Belgium, a good side who play in the third tier of Belgium football. It was a solid final performance and goals from Daniel Ajakaiye and Victor Naranjo secured a 2-0 win and third place.
Bromley’s academy side conceded just once in the entire tournament. Dutch side RKSV Halsteren went on to lift this years U19 trophy.
The squad are now travelling back to Molenheide for some dinner and rest before heading back to Hayes Lane tomorrow.
