Bromley Football Club Academy, proudly supported by Go Travel, now operates a highly-successful Girls Academy that will help the next generation of female football players progress to the next levels within the women’s game.
The girls’ development throughout the BFCA two year course will help them grow in self confidence through doing something they love. It will also help the players socially and improve their leadership and communication skills through training and playing within a comprehensive girls football and education framework.
Academy Director Mark Hammond said, “I am glad that this generation is finally recognising that girls can develop their talents through chasing our unique curriculum pathways and also play football at a very high standard, it is becoming more and more popular for girls to fulfil their dreams of playing for their club and potentially their country”.
Players may chose to study A levels or the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and will have the opportunity to gain FA Level 1 & 2 coaching qualifications. Successful candidates will play and train at the home of Bromley FC and will be taught at the prestigious Ravensbourne School as part of the Club’s unique collaboration with the E21C Academy Trust.
The academy programme is a great opportunity for talented young women to follow a bespoke syllabus designed in accordance with the National League and the football league elite player performance plan delivered by UEFA qualified coaches.
