After two years of dedicated hard work, Bromley Football Club academy scholars received their A-Level and BTEC results on Thursday 15th August. For example, players such as Louis Davidson, who achieved the highest grade possible at BTEC level, triple distinction star, has been offered to study sport and exercise science at two prestigious universities in Surrey and Chichester. Whilst Thomas Songu is heading straight into the educational and qualification pathway via the U23’s, after attaining Distinction, Distinction, Merit. He will also be joined by Alex Brefo who has represented the first team during pre-season and will also be signed to the Clubs U23 side.
Academy director Mark Hammond proudly commented; “All players have excelled in their two years as football students, gaining outstanding results at both A-Level and BTEC. This positivity will help inspire the future scholars with their two years ahead and hopefully they can mirror the success of the players mentioned above.”
