Rhys Wyborn joins Beckenham Town on two-month loan

Bromley Football Club can confirm that First Year Pro Rhys Wyborn has joined Isthmian South East Division side Beckenham Town on a two-month loan.

A product of our Academy, Bromley supporters would have seen glimpses of the full-back in action for the First Team in pre-season before he endured a spell on the side-lines through injury.

The youngster caught the eye of Andy Woodman after some brilliant performances for the U21’s over the past couple of years.

During his time within the Academy, Wyborn was also instrumental in the FA Youth Cup, most notably scoring against Hollands & Blair and Lewes during that 2021/22 run after a positive outing in the competition the season before.

Before joining Bromley, he was in the Football League Academy system for seven years.

Alongside his playing duties, Wyborn also coaches for our Community Sports Trust, taking up roles within our Soccer Camps, after school clubs and Saturday Morning Soccer School sessions.

This move will be Rhys’ second loan spell after spending a month with Redhill.

We wish Rhys all the best!
