Bromley Football Club are delighted to welcome former midfielder Scott Wagstaff back to the club as our new U17’s Head Coach alongside his playing duties at Tonbridge Angels.
Ahead of his move to the Ravens in 2022, Wagstaff made a name for himself whilst at Charlton Athletic, making over 100 senior appearances for the club. In his first campaign with the Addicks, he was named Young Player of the Year, collecting a handful of Championship appearances in the process. In 2012, he was a key part of the side that clinched the League One title.
In 2013, Wagstaff swapped Charlton for League One side Bristol City where he went on to make over 70 appearances and enjoyed more silverware. He won League One again whilst also getting his hands on the EFL Trophy in the same season.
Spells at Gillingham, AFC Wimbledon, Forest Green and Aldershot followed before making 10 league appearances for Bromley, scoring against Solihull Moors on his debut.
Scott’s appointment comes as Luke Coulson moves up to the U18’s as their Head Coach.
Welcome back, Scott!
You can catch Scott’s returning interview exclusively on our Ravens Weekly podcast which will be released this week.
