Youth Academy Summary: Saturday 28th January

Our Youth Academy sides returned to action at the weekend and we are delighted to report a set of really good results.

Starting with out U12 Boys and they played host to South Park, winning 3-1. The Ravens found themselves a goal down to a well-organised side. However, an immediate reaction saw Bromley clinch two goals in five minutes to turn the game completely on its head before going on to clinch the win. Shout-out to Zach Grainger for putting in brilliant performances alongside Maliki Whitex and Callum Clifford who both found themselves on the score-sheet.

As for our U13 Boys, they also came out on top, beating PSA 2-0. Riley Williams and a wonder strike from Liam Danaher secured the win for the Ravens. Jude Powers and Sean Sina were stand-out performers on the day.

Moving on to our U14 Girls and they came up against Juventus Academy, winning 5-0 with Aaliyah Mansouri and Ismey McFadyen putting in a brilliant display.

Our U14 Boys came up against a strong PSA side on Saturday. A dominant first half display saw Bromley take the lead through right-back Henry Krahn and despite Zak Howard saving a penalty in the second half, the visitors popped up with an equaliser. The game ending 1-1 against a solid side who hadn’t dropped points yet this season. A shout-out to both Henry and Zak along with Aston Bignell who all put in brilliant performances.

Staying with PSA and they came up against our U15 Boys and it turned out to be a very entertaining game full of high intensity and high press. Ferami Dada netted a hat-trick and claimed an assist as the Ravens won 4-3 with Zak Lina putting in a brilliant performance too.

Our U16 Boys also came up against PSA and won 3-1. Despite Pro Sports dominating possesion early on, Bromley created the better opportunities and were unlucky not to score more in the end. Special mention to Nathan who looked comfortable playing as one of our three central defenders. Casey Hewitt netted whilst Zheckho Zhelyazkov bagged a brace. Harry English and Alfie Hilden also received praise after the game.

A brilliant performance from all of our sides at the weekend and a special thanks to our sponsors Group LK and Glemnet for their continued support.
