Youth Academy update: Saturday 16th September

Our Youth Academy sides returned to action this weekend so let’s take a look at how they got on!

It proved to be a fantastic start to proceedings for our U12’s as they found themselves 2-0 up at the end, but it would be Dartford who came out on top, winning 4-2. Charley Compton and Keiarn Roper netted for the Ravens whilst Teddy Kent took the Player of the Match award.

Moving onto our U14 Girls and they beat PLYR 4-2 thanks to some fantastic goals, including two brilliant individual strikes. It was a game full of brilliant passing from Bromley as we came away victorious. Isla Mason, Elsa Rock netted along with an Isabelle Jose brace to clinch the win.

As for our U14 Boys, they lost 3-1 with Rio Singh-Dacers netting the only goal whilst our U15 Boys beat Welling 2-0, coming up against a much bigger, physical and more direct opponent. Jack Denton and Jake Fowler netted both Bromley goals whilst Ashton Bignall put in a Player of the Match display.

Our U16 Boys narrowly lost 1-0 to Dorking with Frankie Humphries taking the Player of the Match award whilst our U16 Girls enjoyed a fantastic game as they drew 4-4 with Welling, playing the whole match with 11 players. Zoe Cozma and Matilde Lopes both netted doubles in the eight-goal thriller.

As ever, a huge thank you to Group LK and Glemnet for their continued support.
