Youth Academy update: Saturday 30th September

Our Youth Academy sides returned to action at the weekend with a whole host of new fixtures.

We start with our U12 Boys who fell to a 5-3 Welling United Blues despite dominating proceedings. Elliot Morris netted all three Bromley goals to top of a player of the match display.

As for our U13 Boys, they beat West Ham Foundation 6-1! Playing some brilliant football, keeping possession for large majority of the game, goals came from Fred Forster, Raahi Costello, TJ Owen, Jake Trim and a double from Rocco Mulholland.

Shout-out to Ben Stacey who put in a player of the match performance.

As for our 14 Boys, they also tasted victory at the weekend, beating Dartford 1-0 thanks to a Hunter Caldwell winner.

Just like our U13 Boys, our U14 Girls also netted six, this time against Ebbsfleet. Aaliyah Mansoury bagged a brace whilst Emily Kennedy, Isabelle Jose, Isla Mason and Elsa Rock also found the net for Bromley.

The girls showed good anticipation for their first goal and after a slight dip in communication, they showed great patience to ride the pressure, leading to great press for their second before a couple of great strikes from outside the box sealed the win. Amber Corner was awarded player of the match in that one!

As for our U15 Boys, they lost 4-1 away to Dartford with Jake Fowler scoring the Ravens’ only goal before George Hardy walked away with the player of the match award.

Our U16 Boys beat Aldershot 3-0 at the weekend, ending any nightmares of their last meeting with the Shots where it finished 4-1 to the opposition in the cup semi-finals. The boys played with high intensity in all four quarters and dominated each area and every phase of play tactically and physically. Freddie Sinclaire, Jedd Hobbs and Brody Cockerill netted for the Ravens whilst Seb Amatai and George Rees also put in fantastic performances in the middle of the park.

In a nine-goal thriller, our U16 Girls came out on top 7-2 winners over Hayes & Yeading. After being 3-0 up at half-time, the opposition brought it back to 3-2 before the Ravens ran riot. Ava Killaly bagged four whilst Isabella Jose, Matilde Lopes and Ruby Birch also found the net.

As ever, a huge thank you to Glemnet and Group LK for their continued support.
