Bromley Women score eight to set up Welling United FA Cup tie

Another incredible result for our Women’s side as they beat Sevenoaks Town 8-1 on Sunday to progress to the next round of the FA Cup where they’ll face Welling United on Sunday 1st October.

The Ravens, who were backed by an impressive crowd and were reduced to 10 during the game, opened the scoring within the first couple of minutes when Frankie Mardon’s impressive strike put the Ravens in front.

Hannah Baptiste would quickly make it two before Charlotte Lee made it three with only 26 minutes on the clock.

The prolific striker would net the goal of the game just before half-time with a superb overhead kick before Sevenoaks pulled one back on the stroke of half-time.

Beth Hull netted goal number five before bagging again to make it 6-1 early into the second 45.

Lee would go on to net two more to score her second hat-trick of the season and come away with four goals to her name.

Watch all the goals below:

Next up, a trip to Hastings United on Sunday.
