Bromley Football Club are saddened to hear of the passing of former Honorary Secretary, John Cooper, who died in the early hours of Sunday morning after a short stay in hospital with pneumonia at the age of 86.

John was elected Secretary in 1975 when he stood against the long serving, Charlie King, after joining the Club committee in 1970.  He relinquished the post in 1993.

He was instrumental in guiding the Club in the formation of a Limited Company, and represented the Club on the Board of the Isthmian League, to which he was later made a Vice President of.
