Ravens complete loan signing of goalkeeper Lewis Thomas

Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Welsh goalkeeper Lewis Thomas on loan from Sky Bet Championship side Bristol City until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old joined the Robins in September 2023 after spending five years with Forest Green Rovers.

Thomas progressed through the youth ranks at Swansea City where he’d win the Premier League 2 in 2017 before arriving at Nailsworth a year later where he’d make 49 appearances, including five in Sky Bet League One, keeping 14 clean sheets in the process.

On the international stage, Thomas has also featured for Wales at under 17 and under 19 level.

Speaking after joining Bromley, Thomas said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be here. I’m looking forward to the next couple of games in a busy schedule for the club.

“I’ve been around the facilities for the first time today. It’s an incredible set-up and I’m really impressed by it all.

“I’ve had a good first day with the boys and the coaching staff have been great to me. Everyone has been very welcoming.”

Our newest recruit will wear the number 41 shirt.
