Remembering Glyn Beverly, five years after his passing

Glyn Beverly was a much-loved man who represented Bromley Football Club at Boardroom level, having been Chairman during the 1980s and 1990s, steering the Club through some difficult times.

In more recent years, he was Club President at Hayes Lane, proudly representing the Ravens at home and away matches, and seeing the Club achieve three promotions, as well as establishing themselves as a National League outfit and making the transition to full-time football.

Glyn sadly passed away in December 2017, and is still sorely missed, but very, very fondly remembered as a man who gave so much to the Club he loved. In July 2019, the all-seater Glyn Beverly Stand was unveiled, a lasting legacy of a man who is a true legend of Bromley Football Club.

Glyn’s daughter Katey, and his grandson Luke both continue to work at Hayes Lane on matchdays, carrying on the family’s everlasting support.
