What’s been happening this week

  • Club

There has been plenty going on across all of our social media accounts, and we have picked out some the key stories from the week…

The Club have received many messages from supporters asking how they can help the Club during this time. For those who have the ability to do so, we would love for our volunteer led ‘100+’ Club grow to 500. And this week both First-Team Manager Neil Smith and goalkeeper Mark Cousins signed up, with the news breaking on our Twitter. For more information on how to join, please click here.

The Academy continue to provide updates on their operations following the closure of schools. They continue to work with online teaching methods as well as providing all the support necessary to our scholars. You can watch the latest update video, and find out more, by clicking here.

As well as updates from our current first-team, the Club have also been sharing memories from years gone by. Every day we have a new ‘Goal Morning’ which brings you a featured goal each day. One that got everyone talking this week was a Jack Holland solo effort from 2014!

‘Photo of the Day’ which will continue to bring you moments from games gone by in image form, courtesy of Mark Avenell, Ed Boyden and Ryan Tanner. You can see the most liked ‘Photo of the Day’ from this week below via our Instagram account below.

Yesterday also saw the latest instalment of ‘Matchday Replay’ with a re-run of our 2-1 win over Leyton Orient from last year. Miss the action? No problem you can still watch it here.
