Thanks to the recent renovation of the Venue Suite at Hayes Lane, Bromley businesses have been enjoying a revolutionised approach to post pandemic business networking.

Attendees of the Bromley Business Network (Bromley BN), an independent non-profit networking group for local businesses held at the Stadium, have been trialling a new ‘Zoom and Room’ system installed by the club over recent weeks.

The new approach is helping attendees of the fortnightly breakfast meeting continue to network, whether they are self isolating at home, or able to attend face to face.

The group, which is open to all businesses to attend, recently trialled the tech at the first hybrid meeting. 12 attendees dialled in from home while 26 enjoyed a full English in the Venue Suite.

Chas Jordan from Bromley Business Network said: “We are so grateful for the investment Bromley FC has made into the facilities, which has enabled this hybrid meeting to happen. Some of our members are still having to be very cautious about face to face meetings and we didn’t want them to miss out when we returned to the club at the beginning of August.

“The support we’ve received from Bromley FC in setting this up has been incredible. Now, the Venue Suite is equipped with so many screens around the room, the Zoom attendees really do feel present in the room and a part of the group. It works far better than we’d anticipated.

“We are very much looking forward to collaborating with the football club in future and have some exciting plans in the pipeline which will benefit all local businesses in the network.”

Emma Santer, Commercial Manager at Bromley Football Club said “Bromley Business Network have worked hard to make the networking events work for everyone; whether it be virtually or face-to-face, and we are delighted to be working together more closely with BBN, as it will allow us to introduce new events and to strengthen the networking group even further”.

BBN is a supportive business networking group which meets fortnightly between 6.30am and 9am. There is no membership – all businesses are welcome to attend.
