Bromley Football Club is looking to appoint a new Commercial Assistant to join our office team here at Hayes Lane.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week. This includes all home matchdays (including weekends and evenings). A part-time role may also be considered.

Reports to: Head of Partnerships and Sponsorships  

Role Summary: Bromley Football Club are looking to recruit a highly organised and effective sales executive to help drive matchday sponsorship, hospitality sales and acquisition of new business partners at this rapidly growing football Club. 

The individual will also be responsible for helping to manage the existing client relationships, maintaining strong relations, ensuring regular contact, and in turn, driving repeat business. 

In addition, the successful candidate will build strong relationships in house and with partners, in addition to managing the Commercial Department administration. 

The role would involve supporting the Commercial Department in the day-to-day and matchday responsibilities, as well as being the first point of contact for client enquiries and fulfilment of our contractual obligations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

The role includes, but is not limited to: 

Supporting the head of Partnerships and Sponsorships with sales and the account management of the current and new sponsors, as well as diary management, for example, co-ordinating matchday sponsors, ensuring our obligations to them are also met. 

Support the Head of Hospitality in the sales of the hospitality areas of the Club, and in the day-to-day duties. 

Being the first point of contact for the Commercial Department regarding phone and email enquiries. 

Carry out lead generation through e-mail campaigns, cold and warm calls, and be actively involved in meetings and networking events.

This is a high-profile role; therefore, you must always present with a clean and smart appearance. 

The successful candidate will also be required to uphold and promote the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures. 

Hours of work: You will be required to work between 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday – Friday and you will be expected to work as reasonably required to fulfil the needs of the business. The successful candidate will be required to work on home match days, both evenings and weekends.
