Bromley FC play host to Bromley Schools District Finals

Bromley Football Club had the pleasure of hosting a number of the Bromley Schools District Cup Finals on Thursday 4th May.

First Team Manager Neil Smith, Academy Director Mark Hammond and Head Academy Coach Glyn Shimell were on hand throughout the day and were joined by Bromley First Team players Jack Holland, Dan Johnson and Alan Dunne who handed out the medals and trophies.

The day kicked off with a Year 8 final between Harris Beckenham and Ravens Wood School which saw Ravens Wood run out 5-0 winners.

Next up was the Under 14’s Cup Final between Ravens Wood and Ravensbourne with both sides featuring Bromley FC Youth players. Ravensbourne scored the only goal of the game to claim the trophy.

The day finished with the Girls Senior / Under 16 final between Bullers Wood and Hayes School and it was Hayes who ran out 4-2 winners.

A huge thank you to Roger Dickson who heads up the Bromley Schools football and to all the teachers, pupils and parents who played their part in a great day of football at Bromley Football Club.

The Club will again be playing host to further Bromley School District Finals over the coming weeks.
