The Bromley FC Summer Soccer Camp, supported by Macron London South East is here! That’s right, we’re here for five weeks of football fun!
Week 1: Monday 26th – Friday 30th July
Week 2: Monday 2nd – Friday 6th August
Week 3: Monday 9th – Friday 13th August
Week 4: Monday 16th – Friday 20th August
Week 5: Monday 23rd August – Friday 27th August
Following a successful Soccer Camp in May & June, we’re back for the Summer holiday following Government and FA advice.
Please ensure you read the below requirements and weather policies before booking.
If your child or anyone in your household or bubble is displaying symptoms of COVID-19, DO NOT attend. If any children show symptoms during camps, their parent/carer will be contacted to collect them immediately. They will not be allowed to return to the site for 7 days.
Places MUST be booked online. Anyone who arrives on the day without booking will either have to book on a mobile device there and then or be turned away.CLICK HERE TO BOOK NOW!
FA Guidelines: The Club and its staff will be following FA Guidelines at all times. These will be explained to children prior to the sessions starting and the Club will continue to monitor further advice. All parents will receive a video summary of the procedures and one way system in place ahead of the start of the camp.
Where and when does it take place?
The Soccer Camp will run from 9am to 3pm on each of the days listed above for boys and girls aged 4 to 13 years of age.
The Soccer School takes place within the same facility that our first team train and play in – on our super safe, child friendly 3G rubber crumb pitches, which are the best all weather pitches in the borough!
Address: Bromley Football Club, Hayes Lane, Bromley, Kent BR2 9EF
One way system:
Please look out for a coach on arrival in the car park, who will direct you to the signing in area. You will then sign your child in, before progressing through the one way system out towards the new stand, where you will drop your child off in the care of our coaches, and leave the site via Exit 4. Please note, we cannot allow parents to remain on site past the dropoff point.
All parents will receive a full walkthrough video via email prior to their child attending. Parents will not be allowed on site to pick children up until 3pm, unless otherwise agreed with a member of staff prior to the day starting or in case of an emergency.
What does my child need?
A packed lunch and bottle of hand sanitiser along with plenty of drink and suitable clothing. A change of clothing must be provided if poor weather is expected or occurring. T-shirt and shorts are fine in better weather, but we advise parents to bring along tracksuits and warm clothes as the weather can change quickly! Trainers or football boots are acceptable but NO METAL STUDS are allowed. Shin pads are also preferable. Please label all of your child’s belongings clearly.
Hand sanitiser: You should provide your child with a bottle of hand sanitiser. We will also provide hand sanitiser for the children with minimum 60% alcohol content. You must provide consent for your child to use this on the booking form.
Weather policies
Rain/Poor weather: With the best all weather pitches in the borough we’ve had one session cancelled in our 8 years of operation, and that was due to a mountain of snow, which is extremely unlikely at this time of year! Rain or shine, we’ll be running and open as usual!
Please note, we expect you to provide your child with a waterproof jacket. If poor weather is occurring/expected you MUST provide your child with a change of clothes. They will then be able to swap to dry clothes in the event of getting wet. Failure to provide this would result in a member of staff calling the named parent/carer to drop off a spare set or to pick the child up to avoid illness.
Hot/Sunny weather: In the event of hot weather, you should ensure you apply sun cream to your child before arriving at the stadium. You should also leave a bottle of sun cream in your child’s bag. Should they need it, they will be able to apply it themselves under the supervision of a coach. Please note the permission section for this in the booking form.
Should government advice allow us to use an indoor space, we will be doing so safely. However, at present, we will be using the covered stand area to house the children at dropoff, break, lunch and pick up times. This has been tried and tested with our Academy in recent weeks and has worked perfectly.
How do I book?
Following the popularity of our most recent Soccer Camps, parents are encouraged to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Children will enjoy football in a safe environment and will be coached by DBS checked and FA qualified coaches.
