Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce that we have made a successful application to become an FA Wildcats centre.
Wildcats centres are designed to inspire girls aged between 5-11 to be involved in the sport.
Wildcats Girls’ Football Clubs provide girls with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment created exclusively for girls. 200 clubs were established across England throughout the spring and summer of 2019.
The sessions take place on a weekly basis, either after school or at weekends, subject to the local organiser. They will provide a safe environment where girls with no football experience can; have fun engaging with sport, develop fundamental skills, try a variety of sessions, learn new things and create foundations for a lifelong love of sport.
In the words of the Kent FA; “Bromley FC are a well run and established club catering for women and girls of all abilities and all ages. This is the last piece of the jigsaw for them!”
Community manager Matt Hall commented; “We are delighted to become a Wildcats centre. This will enable us to extend our already strong provision for women and girls by now catering for girls aged 5-10. This is an established and recognised national programme, and we’re very pleased to be delivering this for our community.”
The sessions will begin (subject to no further restrictions) on 10th October at 10am.
