Club spread some festive cheer at Princess Royal University Hospital

  • Community

Representatives from Bromley Football Club attended the Children’s Wing at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Locksbottom, to put smiles on faces and spread some festive cheer!

Player-Coach Alan Dunne, Captain Jack Holland, and fellow first teamer Sam Wood all attended along with Matt Hall, to give every single child on the Ward a free Christmas present from the Club and have a chat with the families.

All of the families visited were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and were very grateful for the Club’s gesture.

Wood, who put himself forward for the visit as soon as the opportunity arose, commented; “It was a fantastic thing to do. To come here and give the children who are going to be in hospital over Christmas some presents really gave them something to smile about. One mum even told us her child had been crying all night and wasn’t smiling until we arrived! It’s a great feeling to boost their spirits.”

The Club will also be visiting St Mark’s CE Primary and Highfield Junior School later on this week.
