Three of the staff at Bromley Football Club, including manager Neil Smith, will be taking part in a Charity run to support the Chartwell Cancer Trust.
Alongside the gaffer, will be Safety Officer David Cooke, and Club chef Scott Brown.
They will run The Virgin 10k, held in London on 15th July, in an attempt to raise funds for a cause that has become very close to the heart of everyone at the Club.
We would like to ask supporters, where possible, to get behind the three club personnel and make a donation, however small or large, by clicking here>
Neil attended the launch of the charity’s pop-up shop in The Glades, Bromley, last Monday, where he learned of the work that Chartwell carry out on a daily basis. Following this, it didn’t take much persuading for Neil to add his name to the list of runners.
He commented; “This is a fantastic charity, full of amazing people who do such an important and valued job. This is an opportunity for us to show our support to them and hopefully raise some money for what is a fantastic cause.”
