Fantastic turn out for Bromley FC Roadshow at The Glades

  • Community

Bromley Football Club spent a busy Saturday at The Glades last weekend as part of the Charity Awareness Week for The Chartwell Cancer Trust.

The Chartwell Cancer Trust is The Glades Chosen Charity of the Year for 2017. The charity supports children and adults with cancer and leukaemia in Bromley and the surrounding boroughs.

Bromley FC put on a ‘Roadshow’ in the Central Atrium which included a large inflatable goal and ‘speed trap’ along with a Club Shop and first team players were on hand to meet supporters and visitors during the afternoon.

Ronin the Raven, supported by Ronin Marketing, was also present and was on hand to meet and greet our young supporters.

General Manager Jeff Hutton said, “We’d like to pass on our thanks to both The Glades and The Chartwell Cancer Trust for allowing us to be part of the Charity Awareness Week in the centre. It was great for us to be part of the week and help raise money for such a worthwhile cause.”

“The Club had a great time on Saturday and the response from supporters and visitors was fantastic. It was great opportunity for us to continue our work in promoting and sharing our Club with the wider community ahead of another exciting season and our 125 year anniversary.”

The Club would like to thank David Cooke, Chloe Browne, Jim Brown, Paul McKay, Matt Hall, Ronan Howard and all our players who helped make the day such a great success.
