Deji Elerewe returns on a permanent deal

Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce the permanent signing of defender Deji Elerewe from Sky Bet League One side Charlton Athletic.

The 20-year-old made 18 league appearances over two loan spells at Hayes Lane, netting on four occasions.

Elerewe first joined the club back in March 2023 and went on to play a key role in our play-off finish, netting the winner away at Woking in the eliminator.

The defender, who is a product of Charlton’s Academy, returned for a second loan spell in October and went on to make eight further National League appearances, netting again at Woking, four days after bagging his first of the campaign at home to Dorking.

Beginning his career at Charlton, Elerewe went on to make his professional debut in a 1-0 EFL Cup defeat to AFC Wimbledon in 2021. He represented the Addicks five times in League One.

During his time at the Valley, he also spent time on loan at Wealdstone where he’d make his debut at home to Bromley on the opening day of 2022/23.

Elerewe will maintain the number three shirt at Hayes Lane.
