Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of young right-back Tobi Adebayo-Rowling.
The 21 year old, who can also play on the wing, arrives from Cork City, and has also represented Sligo Rovers in Ireland. Born in London, Adebayo-Rowling spent his time as a youth player at Brighton & Hove Albion, before moving on to Eastbourne Borough and subsequently, Peterborough United.
He signed a professional contract with The Posh in 2015, linking up with Dave Robertson, who coached him during his time at Brighton. He went on to make five first team appearances in League One, before departing the Club in February 2016. Following this, Adebayo-Rowling made the move to Ireland, where he represented Sligo Rovers over two seasons. During his time with Rovers, he spent time training with Crystal Palace and Portsmouth, but eventually signed for Cork City, from which he now makes the switch to the Ravens.
Manager Neil Smith was deligthed to secure Tobi’s services; “I’m really pleased to have Tobi on board. He’s been playing out in Ireland, and we’ve had some fantastic reports on him. It’s a position we’re looking to strengthen in and he’s coming in looking to kick on again. I like him as a player, he’s an attacking right-back who likes to get forward, but at the same time, is solid defensively.”
Tobi added; “I’m really excited to get started with Bromley. It’s a great Club with great facilities, and one which is definitely on the up! I can’t wait for the upcoming season.”
Tobi joins the following players in committing to the Ravens for next season:
