On Tuesday evening, Bromley take on Boreham Wood in the return National League fixture at Meadow Park, kick-off 7.45pm. This will be Bromley’s 22nd League fixture of the season, and marks the half way stage of the current campaign.

Earlier in the season the two sides drew at Hayes Lane 1-1, with Michael Cheek replying to Sorba Thomas’s early strike that had put the visitors ahead.

Last season’s away game was one of six fixtures not played due to the curtailment of the season in March. Prior to that Bromley have suffered just two defeats out of ten visits to Hertfordshire since Boreham Wood gained promotion to the Conference South in 2010 and subsequently Bromley’s promotion to the National League in 2014.

There have been 56 previous Cup and League meetings in total between the Clubs and results could not be more even. Bromley have secured 19 victories to Boreham Wood’s 18, whilst the remaining 19 fixtures have ended all square.

Boreham Wood are currently in 8th position in the National League table with 33 points from their 22 games played, and last Tuesday evening they lost at home by the odd goal in five to Yeovil Town, whilst on Saturday they won away 3-2 against Altrincham, who were reduced to ten men in the first half.
