Last time against The Stones…

The two sides last met at the start of April, as Andy Woodman took charge of his first game since being appointed as Manager. The Ravens were held to a 2-2 draw on the day, with goals coming from Byron Webster and Michael Cheek.

On Tuesday evening Bromley make their first visit to Grosvenor Vale since the 2014-15 season, for the rearranged Vanarama National League fixture against Wealdstone, kick-off 7.45 pm.

The match should have taken place on 2nd February, but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, following a spell of inclement weather around that time.

On their last visit, which incidentally was Bromley’s first ever visit to Wealdstone’s new ground, the hosts, having taken over the running of that ground from Ruislip Manor who had folded a few months earlier, the Kent Club won by four clear goals on 30 August, following the home sides promotion to Conference South for the start of the 2014-15 season. The victory helped Bromley to promotion at the end of that season, whilst Wealdstone were promoted to our current League at the end of last season too.

Wealdstone had been homeless for a number of years, and Bromley had meet them at several grounds where they had been ground sharing since they sold their Harrow-based ground.

The Middlesex side commenced the season brightly, but circumstances beyond their control have caused them to furlough several First Team players and, as a consequence, they have slipped down the League table to presently occupy 19th  position with 33 points from 38 games played.

In their last two fixtures they have been on the end of two heavy defeats, firstly at Stockport County on Bank Holiday Monday where they lost 4-0, and last Saturday at home to Dagenham & Redbridge who put five past them without reply.
