Bear Island Bar opens

Bromley Football Club is delighted to reveal that we are opening a brand-new outdoor bar to enjoy an epic summer of sport on our big and smaller sized screens.

The Bear Island Bar opens for weekend service from Friday 8th July. Visit Hayes Lane to soak up the sunshine, watch the Wimbledon semi-final and finales alongside the upcoming Euros matches scheduled to take place. With the warm weather set to stick around for the next few weeks, order food to your table and try a range of delicious drinks.

The Bear Island Bar is inspired by the multi award-winning beer range launched in 2017 by independent Kent brewer Shepherd Neame. Alongside a range of spirits and other options, the Bear Island Bar will serve the popular beer range which combines native British hops with hops imported from the US to create beers with bold and contemporary taste profiles.

Here’s a little taster of what you can sip on when visiting…

Noughty Bear 0.5% IPA: Combining four different hop varieties, Noughty Bear has been carefully formulated to ensure that it doesn’t compromise on taste or quality. The eye-catching beer has 70 calories and less than 1g of sugar per 330ml bottle, making it the lighter choice in every way.

East Coast Pale Ale (4.8% ABV): The beer that started it all, Bear Island East Coast Pale Ale celebrates a fusion of British and US beer styles and flavours. Cascade and Amarillo hops imported from the US combine with native British Boadicea to create a distinctive beer.

Triple Hopped Lager (4.6% ABV): A full-flavoured lager crafted using a trio of distinctive hops, with Challenger from the UK, Saaz from the Czech Republic and US Mosaic. The bright orange colour scheme reflects the punchy, hop-forward flavours and aromas.

The Bear Island Bar will be opening at the following times:

Friday 4 – 11

Saturday 12-11

Sunday 12-8

We look forward to welcoming you to the Bear Island Bar soon…
