Billy Bingham reaches 100 appearances

  • Men's

Following on the 100th First Team appearances of Luke Coulson, Michael Cheek and Chris Brush earlier this season, Billy Bingham reached that milestone in Bromley’s Easter Monday home fixture against Maidenhead United.

Billy arrived at Hayes Lane from Gillingham in the Summer of 2019 where he made 30 First team appearances after signing for the Kent Club from Crewe Alexander, where he made over 50 starts. Prior to which he spent six years at Victoria Road where he helped Dagenham & Redbridge win the 2009/10 season League Two play offs going on to complete 117 appearances for them during his time there.

Billy was a product of the Crystal Palace Academy before setting out on his senior career with the Essex Club. He also enjoyed loan spells at Sutton United and Grays Athletic during the early stages of his time at Dagenham.

The Bromley number four made his debut in Bromley’s 0-0 draw at Chorley, alongside Michael Cheek and Chris Bush, on 3 August 2019, and made 35 appearances in his first season. Last year’s starts were restricted somewhat to 29 as he suffered niggling injuries which caused him to miss a few games on a couple occasions. He has been on the scoresheet on five occasions – two of which have been this season.
