Doughty added to squad

Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Charlton midfielder Alfie Doughty on a month’s loan.

The versatile left sided player actually featured against Bromley in the 3-1 Kent Senior Cup victory over the Addicks back in January, alongside Reeco Hackett-Fairchild and Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu.

“Everyone has made me really welcome and it’s been great to meet the boys and coaching staff. I’ve seen the way Bromley have started the season and I want to help build on that. I’m an attacking player who likes to get at the defence and I have an eye for goal.”, commented Doughty.

“We’ve seen a fair bit of him last season and this season too. He’s a young lad with a lot of pace and a direct style of play. He can play anywhere along the left hand side and comes with high praise from Reeco (Hackett-Fairchild) and other ex-Charlton players we’ve had here.”, added manager Neil Smith.

Alfie will wear the number 26 shirt and is available for selection for today’s match against Chesterfield.
