Goodman suffers ACL injury

  • Men's

Bromley Football Club can confirm that the injury suffered to Jake Goodman is a rupture of the ACL, following a scan last week.

Whilst this is unfortunate news for Jake, he remains in positive spirits as ever and is determined to begin his road to recovery as soon as possible.

Head physiotherapist Sean Wickenden commented; “We took Jake for a scan after he picked up the injury against Boreham Wood. Unfortunately it wasn’t good news for us or Jake, as the results show he has ruptured his ACL and had damage to his medial and lateral ligaments as well as a tear on his meniscus. Unfortunately this is going to mean a lot of time out for Jake which isn’t the news anyone wanted, but we’re on top of it and are looking to get him back as soon as we can.”

The Club are and will continue to support Jake through this process, as he continues to spend time with his team mates and support them from the sidelines at matches.

The full interview with Sean Wickenden can be heard on this weeks episode of the official podcast ‘Ravens Weekly’ – Listen from the 12 minute mark… (it should load below, if not click here to listen>)
