Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce the return of forward Reeco Hackett-Fairchild, on loan from EFL League One side Portsmouth.
The 22 year old arrives at Hayes Lane for his third spell with the Club, having originally signed on loan from Charlton Athletic towards the latter stages of the 2018-19 season. After impressing manager Neil Smith, he signed permanently in the Summer of 2019.
After a blistering start to the 2019-20 season for both Club and player, attention was drawn to the in-form forward, and subsequently, in January 2020, he was sold to Portsmouth in a deal which saw Bromley’s record fee received for a player well and truly smashed. Prior to his move, Hackett-Fairchild had contributed eight goals in 25 appearances, as well as numerous assists.
Following nine months with Pompey, Hackett-Fairchild returns on loan until January 2021, and will link up with a whole host of familiar faces, as well as some new ones.
Hackett-Fairchild commented on his return; “It’s been tough the last nine months with no football but I can’t wait to get back, get started again and win some games and score some goals!”
Speaking on the Club; “It is somewhere I admire. It is somewhere I have come and enjoyed each spell I’ve spent at the Club, I can’t fault it. It was the first place I wanted to come to at this level, I’m buzzing to be back.”
