A great display in front of 1,227 at Hayes Lane saw Bromley run out 2-1 winners thanks to first half goals from Moses Emmanuel and Adam Cunnington.
Bromley got off to the worst possible start as the visitors took the lead just six minutes in. A cross from the right was attached by both the Bromley defence and Woking attack and dropped in the box for John Goddard who had an easy tap in from close range.
Loanee, Rohdell Gordon almost responded immediately for the home side but his shot deflected against the defender and keeper before being cleared. Minshull also had an effort from the edge of the box which had to be tipped behind for a corner.
The home side got the deserved equaliser in rather bizarre circumstances. Coombes burst into the box and under pressure from defenders was intercepted only for the ball to bounce back off the referee into the path of Coombes who was then bundled over by a Woking defender and a penalty was correctly awarded. Moses Emmanuel stepped up and his a great strike to leave the scores level.
Bromley continued to dominate possession and push for a second and it came courtesy of Adam Cunnington. The forward pounced on a loose ball before turning and hitting a great left foot strike into the top corner past the stranded keeper.
The second half was an end to end affair as the game opened up. Julian had to make a number of saves before Emmanuel had his shot saved at the other end when he was one on one with the keeper.
Woking must have thought they have scored late on only for Julian to come to the rescue with a fantastic save from the curling effort.
A well earned three points for Neil Smith and his Bromley side.
