The official site caught up with Manager Neil Smith following the draw at Chester on Saturday.

“I thought the team did fantastic, we started well and got a great goal courtesy of Blair. We took our foot off the gas a little bit, then came back again stronger towards the end of the half and I couldn’t seem them scoring I’ve got to be brutally honest. I know they had a couple of chances in the second half but I thought as a back four we were absolutely solid so it was disappointing to end up with a draw but full credit to the team I thought they worked their socks off in front of our fantastic supporters who had made the trip and were in great voice.”

Bromley now head to Braintree Town on Tuesday in the Vanarama National League.

“We know what happened there but we’re just looking forward to the next game and want to keep this unbeaten run going. The team worked hard in training today and put in another real good shift. If we keep at our current levels of performance we can go there and get a result.”
