We caught up with Manager Neil Smith following the weekend’s Vanarama National League action.

“We didn’t really get the chance to enjoy the win at Guiseley on Saturday as we were straight back into a tough game on the Monday. It was always going to be a tough game against Eastleigh, and conceding two poor goals early on along with a forced substitution and a sending off, it just seemed to disintegrate in front of us, which was frustrating as it was the complete opposite of our performance on Saturday at Guiseley.

“We didn’t get carried away after Saturday’s win, and although disappointed, we won’t get ourselves down after Monday’s defeat, we’ll regroup now, and come back ready for our game at Barrow.”
