We caught up with Interim First Team Manager Neil Smith following the 2-1 win over Woking in front of 1,227 at Hayes Lane.
“I’m really happy, I said to the team after the match these three points started on Monday morning. We trained so hard and focused on this game because we wanted to put a smile on the supporters faces. I think that was the most attacking we have played for a while, there was a belief and a desire. Everything I’ve asked of the players since Monday they’ve gone out and produced against a team fighting for a play off place. I felt like I kicked and headed every ball out there today and I am very pleased.
“I’ve told the players to enjoy themselves this weekend because there is no better feeling than winning, especially at home. But on Monday Morning we start again with our focus on Kidderminster.”
