Bromley Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of Harry Kyprianou, on loan from Southend United.

The Cyprus U21 international is versatile left-sided player, who can operate on the wing, at full back or as a centre back, and will bolster Neil Smith’s options ahead of tomorrow’s FA Cup clash against Sutton United.

The 23 year old, who arrives with FA Cup permission, started out in 2013 at Watford as a youth player, before making the move to Southend. Harry signed his first professional deal in the 2014/15 season, before making the move to Southend in 2016.

Since then, he has made 22 first team appearances across Leagues One and Two, scoring twice. His first League goal for the Club came against a Bolton Wanderers side which included Bromley’s Liam Trotter. In 2016, he also enjoyed a loan spell with Lowestoft Town in the National League South, where he made 13 appearances.

Manager Neil Smith commented; “We have been talking to him for a little while and we finally got it across the line this morning. He’s a good player, has played at a level and with a slight injury to Jack Holland we wanted to bring some cover in. And he will come into the fold on Saturday.”

Kyprianou will wear the number 3 shirt in his time with the Club.
