Louis Dennis reaches 250 appearances

Saturday’s fixture against York marked Louis Dennis’ 250th appearance over two spells at Hayes Lane.

Our number 11 commenced his football career in the Youth sides of Watford and Dagenham & Redbridge, before signing his first professional contract with the then Division 2 side.

It was from the Essex side that he transferred to Bromley in February 2014, where he made his debut in the 2-3 defeat at Dorchester Town on the 15th when he replaced Danny Waldron in the 67th minute. He marked his debut with Bromley’s second goal three minutes from the end.

The 31-year-old made 157 appearances, scoring 47 goals in his first spell here at Hayes Lane, where his best season was the 2017/18 campaign when netted on 22 occasions from 53 appearances. This led to him being signed at Fratton Park by Football League side, Portsmouth, in the Summer of 2018. After one season he moved to Leyton Orient and spent two seasons at Brisbane Road.

He returned to Bromley for the commencement of the 2021/22 season, and has clocked up a further 93 games to complete his 250th First Team appearance in Bromley’s last Home fixture against York City, adding another 15 goals to his tally, including four in the league this campaign.
