The Opposition
Halifax sit third in the National League on 50 points from 26 matches.
Their top scorer is Billy Waters with 15 goals during this campaign in all competitions.
The Yorkshire side were formed in 2008 following Halifax Town AFC going into administration in the 2007/08 season.
The club spent three seasons in the Northern Premier League before promotion to the Conference North in 2011. They spent two season in the 6th tier, before promotion to the Conference Premier (as it was formerly known) after a play final win over Brackley Town in 2013.
In the eight years that have followed, they have achieved two National League play-off finishes, a promotion from the National League North in 2017 (following relegation in 2016) and an FA Trophy.

The Halifax manager is Pete Wild who was appointed on the 24th July 2019.
He has guided the Yorkshire side to third place at this point of the National League season.
Wild has overseen a National League play-off finish in the 2019/20 campaign, finishing sixth, as well as a 10th placed finish in his second season.
The 37-year-old has previously managed Oldham, twice as an interim manager and once as the permanent manager.
