Bromley travel to Kings Lynn Town this afternoon on Matchday 28 of the National League season.
The Opposition
King’s Lynn sit 22nd in the National League, on 15 points from 26 matches.
The Linnets have picked up four points from their last five league matches, beating Weymouth 3-0 and drawing to Grimsby.
Their top scorer is Michael Clunan, who has scored five goals in the National League.
The Norfolk outfit were promoted to the National League in 2020 following a 1st place finish in the National League North. In their first full season in the fifth tier following promotion, they finished 21st.
The Opposition Manager
Tommy Widdrington was appointed by King’s Lynn on 10th December 2021, with the side sitting in 22nd.
In 11 games in charge in all competitions, Widdrington has won three matches, drawing two and losing six.
Previously, he has managed Eastbourne Borough and Bristol Rovers on two occasions as a caretaker manager. At Eastbourne, the 50 year old managed 263 matches, winning on 97 occasions.
The Last Meeting
Bromley last took on Kings Lynn on 20th November 2021 at Hayes Lane, with the score ending 3-2 to the Ravens.
King’s Lynn opened the scoring through Jayden Davis in the sixth minute.
The Ravens responded just before half time as Michael Cheek scored his 11th of the season.
The Linnets retook the lead through a long range Ross Barrows strike in the 51st minute.
Two goals in eight minutes saw Bromley take all three points, the first of which was a close range James Alabi goal and the second was an instinctive Michael Cheek finish to complete the comeback.
