The Ravens will be hoping to make it two wins on the bounce tomorrow night as they face another short trip, this time to Woking.
Last Time Out:
Neil Smith’s side found themselves on the right side of a 2-0 scoreline on Saturday as they visited Sutton United. Ben Williamson marked his debut with a goal on 14 minutes before Michael Cheek netted his 11th of the season with just over 10 minutes to go.
Woking also tasted victory at the weekend as they beat Maidenhead United 3-2 at York Road, with Moussa Diarra, Jamar Loza and Jake Hyde all writing their names on the scoresheet.
A Look At The Opposition:
Woking, who won the National League South play-offs last season, currently occupy a play-off spot again as they find themselves seventh with 35 points to their name.
The Cards have also accumulated 33 goals whilst conceding 28 this season but have only clinched three wins on home turf.
The two sides have already met at Hayes Lane this season, with a first half goal from Michael Cheek sealing victory for Bromley.
Unbeaten in November, tomorrow’s opposition will be hoping to make it three wins out of four and close the gap on the Ravens to two points.
Bromley will be travelling to the Laithwaite Community Stadium, a ground which has was opened in 1922 and has a capacity of 6,000 whereby 2,500 are seated.
Who’s In Charge?
Cards boss Alan Dowson took charge at the northwest Surrey side in 2018 and he couldn’t have hoped for a better debut season in charge.
His side would go on to taste National League South play-off glory after claiming a 1-0 victory over Welling United, regaining promotion to the fifth tier.
Dowson’s managerial career began at Walton & Hersham in 2004 as a player-manager before taking the reins permanently.
He then took charge of Kingstonian and it wasn’t be long before he would steer his side to Isthmian Division One South glory.
Before joining Woking, Dowson also spent four years at Hampton & Richmond Borough.
As a player, he began his career at Millwall before going on to play for Fulham, Bradford City, Darlington, Slough Town and Gateshead before hanging up his boots at Walton & Hersham.
The Ravens welcomed Woking to Hayes Lane in September and came out on top, winning 1-0 courtesy of a 38th minute Cheek winner.
Top Scorer: Jake Hyde
With 10 goals to his name, striker Hyde is currently Woking’s highest scorer so far this season.
The Cards’ number nine, who joined in July 2018, has bagged three in his last three games, including the decisive goal in Saturday’s win over former Club Maidenhead United.
