The Ravens fell to defeat at Huish Park at the hands of Yeovil Town on Tuesday night, losing 2-1.
Yeovil got off to the better of starts with the first chance falling on two minutes, Reuben Reid forcing Ellery Balcombe into tipping an effort over the bar.
Up the other end and James Vennings saw his shot from outside the box deflected into the arms of the Yeovil ‘keeper.
The Glovers took the lead on 10 minutes with Lawson D’Ath tapping home from close range.
Reid tested Balcombe again moments later before the Bromley stopper was called into action once more, denying a fantastic effort from Tom Knowles.
The Ravens did find an equaliser though on 23 minutes. Corey Whitely fizzed a ball across goal and George Alexander was there to poke it into the back of the net following a spill from the ‘keeper.
It was another chance for Reid and another save from Balcombe just shy of the half-hour mark before Alexander tried to turn the game on its head. This time, Luke Coulson did well to pick him out, but the forward, who was one-on-one with the ‘keeper, couldn’t slot home.
In first half stoppage time, Yeovil could have returned to the changing rooms ahead, Mark Little floating an effort just over the bar.
Just like the first half, the second half was dominated by Yeovil pressure and Dale Gorman shot over the bar just before the hour mark.
Balcombe, who put in a fantastic display, denied Joshua Staunton from a tight angle.
Yeovil’s pressure did pay off and just after the hour mark, the hosts took the lead.
The Glovers held on to clinch maximum points.
As for Bromley, attentions now turn to Saturday when we face another trip, this time to Wealdstone.
