  • Men's

Following Tuesday nights match with Braintree Town the Club decided to appeal both red cards shown to Dan Johnson and Lee Minshull by referee David Rock.

The appeals were heard at a meeting of a FA Regulatory Commission held at the Wembley Stadium today and the Club were informed in writing of the following decisions;

Dan Johnson

“From the evidence produced, the Members ruled that it was not a case of wrongful dismissal. Therefore, your Claim has been unsuccessful and Daniel Johnson will serve a two match suspension with immediate effect.”

Lee Minshull

“From the evidence produced, the Members ruled that it was a case of wrongful dismissal. On this basis your claim has been successful. The automatic suspension is withdrawn but it should be noted that the record of the dismissal will remain on the record of the player and the Club. The administration fee will still be charged, but section 8(h) of the disciplinary procedures will not be invoked. Therefore, Lee Minshull is eligible to play.”
