Preview: Notts vs Ravens

  • Men's

Bromley travel to Notts County on Tuesday hoping to maintain their unbeaten away League record this season. The fixture has been bought forward four days from Saturday 6 February due to County being involved in the 5th round of the FA Trophy.

This will be only the second time that Bromley have visited Meadow Lane, as the home side were relegated from the Football League for the start of last season. On Bromley’s first visit on 4 January 2020, the home side gained revenge for their 2-1 defeat at Hayes Lane in September 2019 by defeating Bromley by the same scoreline.

As one of the favourites to be in the promotion mix at the end of the season, Notts County are presently in 5th position in the League table with 30 points from their 17 games completed. Last Wednesday evening they defeated Solihull Moors at home with two late goals, and on Saturday gained another win with a single goal victory at Weymouth.

Included in their squad is Richard Brindley, who seems to have made the number 2 shirt his own since he joined the Magpies at the start of last season. Richard made 38 appearances for Bromley during the 2018-19 season and scored two goals.

The return fixture is scheduled to be Bromley’s final game of the season on 29 May, by which time the points at stake may be of vital interest to both Clubs.
