Ravens beat Millwall in friendly

Bromley clinched a 2-1 win at home to a young Millwall side, courtesy

Teddy Sharman-Lowe, who produced a brilliant clearance in the early stages, was quickly forced off with an injury with U21’s ‘keeper Kacper Orlowski coming on in his place.

Soon after, Adam Marriott saw a close range chance fizz wide before Cole Kpekawa also had an opportunity to put the hosts in front, back-heeling from close range after a Bromley corner was whipped into the box.

Orlowski was called into action a couple of times in the first half, including a brilliant save to deny Millwall from a tight angle.

Jude Arthurs would be the one to open the scoring with a strike from just inside the box to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.

Josh Passley also had to come off with an injury and Bromley would be forced to play the remainder of the game with 10 men and as a result of having an extra man, the visitors would head home an equaliser not long after play resumed.

Millwall went on to have an attempt to take the lead as a curling effort deflected off the outside of the post.

Bromley were awarded a penalty in the last minute of the game and George Alexander stepped up to slot the ball into the bottom left corner as Bromley came away with the win.
