Goals from Chin Okoli and Michael Cheek helped the Ravens to a 2-2 draw away at Rochdale this evening with both sides reduced to 10 men earlier in the game. Josh Passley receiving a straight red for the Ravens.
Okoli, who arrived in the summer popped up with a 15th minute header to put the visitors in front.
Just past the half-hour mark and Bromley were reduced to 10 after Passley received a straight red, conceding a penalty in Rochdale’s favour. Up stepped Tyrece Sinclair who levelled proceedings.
Ryan East came close before the break before they did have the ball in the net again. However, it was adjudged to have been offside.
The hosts didn’t take long to put their noses in front as Sinclair netted his brace four minutes into the second 45.
However, on the hour mark, Corey Whitely set up Cheek who netted his first of the season, slotting past the Rochdale ‘keeper.
It was Adam Clayton’s turn to receive his marching orders after bringing down Whitely and Cheek stepped up to take the resulting free-kick and dipped a fantastic effort narrowly over the bar.
Grant Smith produced a couple more fantastic saves to keep the scores level before the hosts would go on to hit the post.
Rochdale continued to press and Smith continued to make brilliant saves as the Ravens saw out another point.
