The Ravens fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to League Two side Crawley Town at the weekend, putting an end to their unbeaten home pre-season run.

Former Raven Harry Forster wasn’t involved for Crawley this afternoon and it would be his former club who got off to the better of starts. Adam Marriott headed just wide with 10 minutes on the clock.

Seconds later and it was another headed chance, this time from Michael Cheek who saw his effort whistle just past the post.

More good Bromley play followed, but it would be the visitors who opened the scoring just past the half hour mark as Klaidi Lolos rounded Grant Smith before slotting home.

The Bromley ‘keeper was called into action again before the break, making a fantastic double save to prevent a Crawley second.

The visitors did eventually bag their second through Danilo Orsi who netted from a tight angle.

However, the Ravens did pull one back on 71 minutes when an indirect free-kick was awarded Bromley’s way and after James Vennings set up Bes Topalloj, the latter smashed the ball home.

The visitors held on to clinch the win as attentions now turn to Tuesday night’s visit of Crystal Palace. Click here for tickets.
