Bromley Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of winger Luke Coulson from Ebbsfleet United.

The 24 year old is also comfortable playing as a forward, and will be a familiar face to many a Bromley supporter, having played against them numerous times, as well as scoring in Ebbsfleet’s 2-1 victory over the Ravens last Boxing Day.

As a youth player, Coulson spent ten years at Manchester City, before enrolling as a student at the University of Michigan, playing for the Michigan Wolverines. After just a month, however, Coulson made the move back to the UK after interest from Championship and Premier League Clubs. Following this, he signed for Cardiff City, making his debut against Macclesfield Town in January 2013.

After being offered a new deal at the end of the season, Coulson opted to move on in search of regular first team football. After trials with Football League Clubs, he joined Oxford City. Following some eye catching performances, with goals to his name, National League side Eastleigh came calling, making him their record signing.

Coulson’s form continued with the Spitfires, and he was snapped up by then League Two Barnet. Soon after, however, Ebbsfleet United paid an undisclosed fee for Coulson’s services, bringing him on board in July 2017.

After signing for the Ravens, Coulson commented; “I’m delighted it’s all happened so quickly. Everyone has been really friendly today, and I very much enjoyed my first training session. I’ve been told all about where the Club wants to be in the next few years, and that’s a huge reason why I’ve bought into it.”
