The Ravens returned to winning ways after beating Ebbsfleet United 3-2 at the Kuflink Stadium on Tuesday.
Lewis Leigh returned to the starting 11 and nearly opened the scoring on four minutes, but his strike flew wide of the post.
Up the other end and the hosts had a chance of their own when Ben Chapman forced Grant Smith into a good save.
Corey Whitely latched onto the end of an Olufela Olomola ball after the striker raced into the box, but he could only poke wide the third chance of the game with only eight minutes on the clock.
The dead-lock was eventually broken when Whitely squared a ball to Michael Cheek who slotted home an early opener.
Smith was called into action again just shy of the half-hour mark when Dominic Poleon cut in from the right before his low shot was saved by the Bromley ‘keeper’s leg.
On 32 minutes, one nearly became two when Leigh’s corner met the head of Bes Topalloj at the back-post, but the full-back’s header landed over the bar.
It was Ben Krauhaus’ turn to test former Raven Mark Cousins soon after, but the Ebbsfleet ‘keeper did well to keep the scores at 1-0 going into the break.
Poleon made it 1-1 on 53 minutes before the Ravens were back. in front, this time Krauhaus did find the net, striking from the edge of the box into the bottom corner.
In-form Olomola extended Bromley’s lead to two when he picked the ball up from the left, evaded a challenge before racing into the box and striking past Cousins with just over 15 minutes left of play.
Poleon bagged his brace just before stoppage time, but, despite a nervy end, the Ravens held on to close the gap on Chesterfield at the top.
